Walking down Kalnas street in Juodkrantė town it is impossible not to notice the majestic building. That’s exactly what I thought when I first heard these suggestions from the employee. These are spa treatment packages for those who want to pamper themselves together with their significant other or have fun with friends.
Since I have always associated Juodkrantė with magic and mysticism, I chose the “Fairy charms” package that corresponds most closely to this theme. The package includes as many as three different procedures, the first of which is an infrared sauna. Personally, I don’t like sitting in a traditional sauna, feeling my cheeks getting hotter and hotter and sweating profusely. The infrared sauna is heated to 45-55 degrees, so you could probably sit in it all day. And the result is extremely effective – at the end of the session even the body became cleaner, pores in the skin opened and unnecessary toxins were removed.
Another procedure is herbal peeling. I was literally pampered by the wealth of nature. The surface of the skin was exfoliated extremely well, and the rubbing herbs released the most pleasant scents into my body. After such a procedure not only did the condition of the skin improve, but I also felt an emotional balance.
The last, third procedure is wrapping. Although the name of this procedure sounded funny to my husband, after it was over he confirmed one thing – the effect is felt as soon as you are “unwrapped”. During the wrapping, a pleasant warmth is felt throughout the body, which noticeably activates the metabolism. In my personal experience, I would call this procedure miraculous because the excess of accumulated fluids that tormented me almost all summer were removed with the help of wrapping.
