Half-day excursion by boat from Klaipėda to Juodkrantė with a guided shore excursion to the Witches' Hill

It is common to think that it is convenient to reach Neringa by ferry and later by car but for those who miss a truly unique leisure time, we invite you to try a trip to Juodkrantė by boat.

Do you know what the famous storage ship Independence looks like? And what is Pig’s Back Island? You can see these famous objects with your own eyes by choosing to sail to Juodkrantė from the port of Klaipėda. Travel direction: Klaipėda – Juodkrantė – Klaipėda can last from 4 to 6 hours. You can reach Juodkrantė in 2 hours by boat, and in just one hour by speed boat. It will take the same amount of time to go back and you will have the opportunity to spend 2 extremely meaningful hours on the shore.

When you arrive in Juodkrantė and the boat docks at the big jetty, you will be met by a guide of the Juodkrantė area, who will show you Witches’ Hill and tell you never-before-heard, mystical and authentic stories. The duration of the education is 1.5 hours, so you will still have some time for a cup of coffee at the local family restaurant “Žuvelė” or at “Malka”, famous for its expressive grill dishes, which is right next to the big jetty, where the ship will be waiting for you for the trip back to the port of Klaipėda. Half-day trip by boat from Mingė village to Nida with tasting of traditional fish and smoked fish on board

The beginning of the route is the historical village of Mingė. Upon arrival on board, you will be greeted by the hospitable ship’s crew with pre-prepared meals – traditionally cooked fish soup and assorted smoked fish – a variety of locally caught and prepared smoked fish still smelling of smoke and ready to be tasted immediately.

While swimming in the Nemunas delta you will pass Uostadvaris – you will see the famous lighthouse. Flying through the waters of the Curonian Lagoon, you will see the famous Ventės Ragas, through which the great bird migration route passes and where there is a bird ringing station. The next stop is Nida, where we will give you 2 hours of free time on the shore. Upon request, we will offer a guided walking or cycling tour of Nida’s attractions.

The travel direction: Mingė – Nida – Mingė usually covers 6 or 8 pleasant hours.

Sightseeing boat trip from the mainland to Neringa – from the renewed port of Dreverna to the Dead Dunes

The port of Dreverna is 30 kilometers away from Klaipėda. Today tourists are surprised by its renewed infrastructure and a particularly picturesque panorama. In the port of Dreverna, there is not only an abundance of ships, there is also a renovated, modern recreation area for your family or group’s stay and an observation tower, from the top of which the Curonian Lagoon is in the palm of your hand. The Dreverna restaurant is located there, delighting the palates of visitors with cultivated flavors and there are other entertainments that appeal to families with small children because of a comfortable space.

Sailing from Dreverna will take you to the old fishing village of Juodkrantė, where you will visit the famous Witches’ Hill and admire the historical architecture of Juodkrantė.

You will continue sailing towards the Dead Dunes. Do you know why they are called that? Although it is strictly forbidden to walk on them, you will be able to admire them from the water, understanding all the answers. We will sail all the way to the Pervalka lighthouse, which is built on an artificial island, otherwise known as Horse Horn.
